Maple Dill Carrots

3 cups of carrots, peeled and sliced

2 TBS butter

1 1/2 TBS fresh dill, chopped

2 TBS brown sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1. Peel and cut carrots, about 3 cups worth. Cook them until tender. I usually steam them in the microwave, but you could also just put them in a skillet and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer until tender. Another option is using a steamer basket over boiling water on the stove top.

2. While the carrots are cooking, start melting the butter and chop the dill. Mix the brown sugar, dill, salt, and pepper into the melted butter.

3. When the carrots are done, put them in a serving bowl and pour the sauce over them. Stir and serve. Enjoy! These are so yummy! Serves about 4.
